The Bikila LS is designed specifically for a more natural onroad running experience. The Bikila shares all the platform characteristics as the Speed and original slip on Bikila but incorporating an inovtive lacing system to allow a better fit for larger / wider feet.
The Bikila LS is a re-interpretation of the KSO with all elements reviewed to ensure a shoe focused for the distance onroad / park runner. New features include more grip utilising a anitomical pod design and a slightly padded shaped heel cup.
Built on an entirely new platform, the Bikila LS features a Dri-Lex® covered 3mm polyurethane insole (thickest under the ball) and a 4mm anatomical pod outsole design that offers more plating protection, and distributes forefoot impact without compromising important ground feedback essential to a proper forefoot strike running form.
The Bikila LS tends to best suit a normal foot to wide / high arched shape. If you have flat arches or a low volume narrow foot you may struggle to achieve a good fit.
As with all FiveFingers the Speed is Machine Washable in cold water, Air Dry
Choosing the right size:
FiveFingers are fitted by actual foot length so when ordering please follow the sizing guide below to help achieve the best fit. It is quite normal to end up being quite a different size from your normal shoe.
How to measure your foot:
For best results in finding your size we recommend measuring both feet, heel to toe:
Standing with your heels against a flat wall
1.Slide ruler under each foot
2.Be sure to measure the end of the longest toe
3.Take the longer of the two measurements
If your foot length varies by more than 0.4cm, it will be difficult to get a precise fit for both feet.
If your second toe is more than 0.4cm longer than your big toe it will be difficult to get a precise fit.

Special Note:
Again, it should be noted that not every foot fits well within FiveFingers, they are a very different approach to traditional footwear and "break" a lot of the old rules of what a shoe should be.
It's important to understand that the "break in" time for your foot to get used to the complete lack of padding and support can vary from person to person. Some people put them on and in a few days they feel great, for others the process can take a few weeks to be able to wear them distance running or all day casually. For a few the process can take months before they are truely comfortable for all day wear.
If you have known problems with your feet or are unsure if FiveFingers are for you please feel free to send us an e-mail and we can take you through the range and see how they may fit your feet and your lifestyle.
What if they don't fit me when I get them home?
Because of the toe fitting element of the Vibram Five Fingers they, on rare occasions don't fit, or are just the wrong size. If you find the pair you have ordered is not right please send us an e-mail outlining what the problem is so we can work out a solution from returning the shoes for a replacement or refund.
